GeoTek has licensed asbestos inspectors on staff to perform building surveys in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. Surveys are conducted to facilitate renovation or demolition of structures per US EPA NESHAPs rules under 40 CFR Part 61. GeoTek is also capable of performing inspections and 3-year re-inspections of school buildings, under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA, US EPA rules of 40 CFR Part 763).

Small (i.e. 2” x 2”) bulk samples can be placed in a Ziploc plastic bag and submitted to the independent testing lab for analysis. The lab usually desires basic information such as name, address, a daytime phone number, email address, where sample was collected, what type of analysis, credit card payment (not personal checks), etc.
